Is Cryotherapy dangerous?
No. A ºCRYO Stay Young team member is always present during treatments, monitoring the temperature and comfort of each guest. Additionally, the chilling agent, liquid nitrogen, is fully contained and never comes in contact with your skin.
Who shouldn’t use Cryotherapy?
Most people can participate in Cryotherapy treatment. However, there are some people who should not partake including those with unmanage hypertension or a pacemaker, those with a history or who are currently being treated for cancer, individuals with deep vein thrombosis, someone who is pregnant, and anyone experiencing an illness or allergy to cold. Is it painful?
No! Cryotherapy is comfortable. It can be compared to standing in front of the refrigerator naked on a hot day.
How long do treatments last?
Most Cryotherapy treatments last around three minutes. There are some treatments, like our facials, which can last for up to 60 minutes.
What about people with claustrophobia?
With ºCRYO Stay Young Whole Body Cryotherapy, you have the option to open the window maintain contact with the outside. You are also always in control of the service and can stop it at any time.
Will I be naked during the treatment?
No. You will be in your socks and underwear during our treatments. We also provide additional items to protect your extremities from the cold.
How soon should I expect results?
Results are variant. You may see immediate results after a single treatment or it might take 2-3 per week to see results. We can say that many people feel results right away with an elevated mood that can last for hours after treatment. Also, depending on your condition, muscle pain and improved mobility may be immediately apparent and last for hours or days following your treatment.
Is one treatment enough?
While every session is beneficial, we recommend that our guests sign up for one of our membership packages to receive maximum benefits. For example, professional athletes may have 4-6 sessions per week to achieve maximum performance during training period, while others may choose to have a maintenance plan of a series of sessions every three months.
